Akin The Designer — Founder, March 4orth Design

25+ years as a UX and product designer taught me the same lesson on every team: token architecture gets rebuilt from scratch because nobody wrote it down properly the first time. So I did.

March 4orth Design exists because most designers never get taught how a design system actually holds together — the tokens underneath the components, the naming conventions, the reasons one spacing scale works and another falls apart under real use. School doesn’t teach it. Most jobs don’t either, because whoever built the last system already left.

The free token starter is the part of that system I think every designer should have without paying for it — production-ready color, type, spacing, and radius tokens, built the way a real system should be, not a demo. The Design Stack membership is the rest of it: the full library, the patterns, the components, and every update as the system grows.

If you’re a junior or mid-level designer who wants to understand design systems from the ground up instead of guessing at what a token is supposed to do — that’s who this is built for.
